The RNZSPCA are totally opposed to intensive caged farming of animals.

That's why we developed the Accreditation Scheme where Poultry Farms apply to become accredited and are audited by the SPCA each year to SPCA Accreditation Standards.  This guarantees animal welfare friendly foods.  The farms that sign onto the scheme sell their product under the RNZSPCA Blue Tick Logo.  Look for the blue tick when you are shopping and be assured that no animals suffered in the production of this food line.

The RNZSPCA are very proud to support Sunset Free Range Poultry Ltd who are members of the RNZSPCA Accreditation Scheme.  All eggs sold under the Sunset brand come from farms that are audited each year by the SPCA to ensure the hens are well cared for to our high standards.  The Blue Tick Logo is Your Guarantee Cruelty Free.
